One of the many reasons I moved.  NY is become a police state.  They do what they want when they want.  I've told the story about an off duty cop firing into a hippy bar blindly thru a window with rugs on it hitting the exit sign and a display case outside the mens bathroom.  The cop was never arrested and they took the guns they knew he had and left him at home.
