Police searched three western Lenawee County locations and arrested a Hudson man Thursday following a seven-month investigation into a marijuana manufacturing and delivery operation.

Officers from the Region of the Irish Hills Narcotics Office executed three simultaneous search warrants at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at 16858 Rome Road and 1865 N. Rollin Highway, both near Addison, and 553 S. Meridian Road near Hudson, according to a news release. A 55-year-old Hudson man was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing and delivering marijuana with additional charges pending.

Authorities located several pounds of processed marijuana, packaging materials and dozens of plants in various stages of processing, according to a news release. Several handguns, rifles and shotguns were also seized, along with $25,000 cash.

Cars and other small vehicles, including a golf cart, could be seen being towed away from the scene Thursday afternoon.

The narcotics team was assisted by the Jackson Narcotics Enforcement Team, troopers from the Monroe post of the Michigan State Police, K-9 units from the Jackson post of the state police and the Adrian Police Department, the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, the Hudson Police Department, and the Michigan Department of Corrections.
