Who can be my caregiver?

I am a 16 year old that can qualify for my medical card because of chronic pain and insomnia. My question is who can be my caregiver. My dad has 2 felonies that are drug and assault related. My mom lives in the same house so would she be able to be my caregiver even if my dad is in the house? I live in the state of Michigan if this will help as well.

Yes she can as long as she has no assault felony's or felony s within the last 10 years your mom  can be your caregiver.
