Tonight we will be officially electing Club Officers

and talking about future upcoming events ,

plus setting up our bylaws ...

 

We will have a Birthday Cake Tonight for one of our Members

 

Plus one of our Members is making Sloopy-joes for Everyone

 

Plus Jane made some home-made Mac and Real Cheese

 

We'll have coffee and something cold to drink for everyone ...

We had a Great meeting last night ...

 

We Elected our Officer :

 

President - Tarzan

Vice President - John W.

Tresure - Cindy H.

Secretary - Tiffy N.

Sergeant at Arm - Jimmy S. and Marcus H.

 

We talk about adopting a few needy familys to help them ,

plus a Christmas Party Dec. 7th ,2010 for members and Family ,

We talked about having a few different guest speakers ,

Doing some grow classes , cooking classes , plus watching some

important videos . We also talk about having a doctor helping

us certifing our members .... We had 3 more people join our club.

 

Our next Members Meeting we will be setting up our clubs by-laws ...

 

Our next Open Public Meeting is October 19th, 2010 7 - 9 pm

Some of our Members will be making cookies and donuts .

 

We had a really good meeting , we had lots of fellowship

and Lots of Good Food for all our Members

Wow.. looks like a force to be reckoned with.. A powerhouse team if you ask me..

Sounds like an awesome agenda.. May i suggest that you approach FIA's volunteer coordinator so they can suggest families to be adopted for the christmas season. This will endure you with the local services and put you in contact with the right people. Also, They do all the volunteer programs that are state run so you can help with their other projects as well.. Just a thought.

Yes... The Mio Group has joined w/ our Group / Their Group .

 

Strength is in numbers ...

 

Running these Compassion Clubs up here in

Northern Michigan are not easy ...

 

Not many other Groups Support other Groups up here ?

 

Not sure why they don't ?

 

I can't answer that ....

 

All i know is that WE Support other Groups and

will continue to Support other Groups ....

 

Yes , i think we do plan on contacting FIA in finding

families to help out durning the holidays ...

But Im thinking we may have Members that could use

a little help , or one of our Members may know someone that

is struggling that could use our help ....

 

Times are very tough for many people ... and it's Important

to our club to help those looking for help ...

 

I did forget that we have Adam setting up our Web Site and

will be up and running soon ...

 

Our Goal is that No Member of our Group will have to go w/out Meds
