Can't Access Messages

I cannot open my messages. I am signed in but when I click I get this message;[#10227] You are not allowed to use the private messaging system.

 

I am signed in but can't read my messages if they refuse to let me open them.

 

Any help would be appreciated. I contacted a mod last week but nothing in return.

I am still not able to ude the messaging system. When I click on the #1 in the green dot I get this;

[#10227] You are not allowed to use the private messaging system

Guys I'm going to go ahead and move this to my section for users experiencing the same problem. This isn't a client side comp problem, but a user settings error, so doesn't really belong in this category. Sorry I didn't answer sooner, it took BG messaging me. I don't think I've even read a thread in the "computer" section.
