Patient And Caregiver Deals

Recommended Posts

So it seems people are confused on the law protecting patients but not caregivers in the case of P2P transfers and such, I believe P2P is legal and caregiver to patient would be legal as long as the caregiver is also a patient. However if a caregiver is not also a patient he can only deal with his patients. And what's the deal with all this grey area? What are we doing to clear things up and how long can they stay grey? Cmon at least make it legal to obtain seeds n clones n clear it up already. And isn't it entrapment for them to allow something by state law but the feds can always show up? I think that's real shady myself. Anyways any opinions on these issues are welcomed I said my piece...peace

....and ..... as long as that caregiver/patient isn't in possession of more than 2.5oz and 12 plants....but most CGs are, right?

A qualifying patient who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the qualifying patient possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed 2.5 ounces of usable marihuana, and, if the qualifying patient has not specified that a primary caregiver will be allowed under state law to cultivate marihuana for the qualifying patient, 12 marihuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility.

Well a c/g can posses his own 2.5, and 2.5 usable for each of his patients. I would think that's would be a situation where ud wanna have labels of strain, patient, harvestdate and such on each separate container but realistically most people. Get an ounce at a time. It sucks the law has to make it tough to keep within the guidelines at all times for caregiivers servicing many patients b/c diff ppl will require diff amounts.
