I know I asked this before, but I'll ask again if anyone is going to the Metrotimes Higher Ground festival at Eastern Market on Friday? I was heading down there to check it out and thought maybe I would try to catch up with you to say "Hi" and such.

I am planning on stopping by to hear Tim Beck speak as he is on one of the panels. Also want to hear those who are part of Detroit government/city council speak. It would be good to hear from them what the climate is like in Detroit with regards to dispensaries. Not sure how late I'll stay but I will be there.

The Metro Times states that there will be some 50 vendors represented so hopefully there will be discounts and such offered. It's free so it can't hurt to check it out.

I'm heading to the D. I lived there a few years, always get excited to be there. Come on people its free and seems like a real grassroot event.
