Irishgreen
2.5 oz to be in compliance with section 4 of the law. (the part that shows if you are in compliance of these is not to be any arrests made) The AD section of the law states "as much as medically necessary" This means you will have to be arrested and the prove to the court that the reason you had that 1/2 lb was for.............. making hash, butter, Simpson oil, etc. Point being; No go to jail? stay under 2.5 oz Go to jail? be prepared to prove why you had it
LongHairBri
seriously dude? how much do you need? 2.5 total could last me over a week and I've been a chronic for 35 years. if the doses you need are that high you need to make edibles, hash, bho or Simpson's oil out of your overages. I'm sure the law wasn't meant as a "pass" to walk around w/a "1/2 elbow"! lol

jjwars1
Take it easy fellas. If this person is a troll you have by far surpassed them in your own trolling responses. Aren't pot smokers supposed to be super helpful, laid back, and nice? Shouldn't this be a community here to help, and not tear down? A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. If this person goes to jail because some "holier than thou smarter than thou" @#$% shunned them it brings everyone down. Keep your cool, and help everyone remain legal in order to keep patients and caregivers from getting a bad reputation. Link to the law: MMP More specifically, "Sec. 4. (a) A qualifying patient who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the qualifying patient possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed 2.5 ounces of usable marihuana, and, if the qualifying patient has not specified that a primary caregiver will be allowed under state law to cultivate marihuana for the qualifying patient, 12 marihuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility. Any incidental amount of seeds, stalks, and unusable roots shall also be allowed under state law and shall not be included in this amount." /I'm not an attorney. Just play it safe. 2.5 ounces all together max regardless of whether half is at home and the other half is in your back pocket. Possession meaning it belongs to you, is on or in something belonging to you, is physically on you, or you buried it in your friends back yard. If it links back to you it's your responsibility. It would be one thing if we had a must read FAQ before posting and it was covered there. But since we don't have that we have to be tolerant of answering the same questions over and over again. Or some of the folks who are so vocal in this thread have the time to go through this forum and search for the most frequently asked question and compile a FAQ with well researched and reasoned answers I'm sure the management here would appreciate that help.
