My solution to the lower flow model R/O device was to create a well of sorts that I can have full at all times. It was very easy. I just put a 400 GPH water pump in the bottom of a 35 gallon trash can and stuck a 25' long 1" diameter hose to it. Then I installed a float valve to the water line. Now when it's full it kicks off and I have 30 Gallons of water ready!

 

You also have to put a good air stone in your "well" to keep the water from growing sludge (algae), and bacteria.
