Scotter810
My question is, how much marijuana can a caregiver store/possess at their home or growing area. I know that they can have up to 12 plants each for their patients, but after the marijuana becomes usable, how much of it is considered legal? I beleive that 1 plant can produce up to 2.5 ounces, therefore would the marijuana from the other 11 plants be considered illegal or are caregivers able to store/possess a larger or unlimited amount than patients? Timmahh
A Registered CG can hold in reserve, 2.5 ozs for each Assigned Patient. so if you have 1 patient, you can hold 2.5 oz in reserve for that 1 patient. If you have 5 Patients, you can hold up to 12.5 ozs in reserve for all 5 patients. As a Care Giver, that is also a Pt, you Can NOT hold 2.5 ozs in reserve for YOURSELF as you are NOT one of your Assigned patients. But you can have the standard 2.5 ounces for your own use any patient can have. Edited September 8, 2012 by Timmahh
Mickeydee
Making sure you are in compliance with weight limits is one of the most difficult things for a caregiver to do. Most use some sort of perpetual harvest to help. Don't forget about all of the things that may be counted towards your allowable weight such as, trim, kief, butter, tinctures, edibles. Depending on who is "inspecting" all of those things may (will) be used towards your allowable weight limits.
