wiccan29
I had originally got my card in november of 2011, the card expired november 2012. I recieved the paperwork from the doctor to renew the card, but it took forever for them to get everything back to me. My question is because of the law change in april of last year, I have a felony on my record from 10 years ago, but when I got my first card it wasnt a problem. But now with the new law, my felony is on the list. Does that mean that I wont be able to renew my card. Someone please help so I dont waste my money to the state. t-pain
correct, if your felony is on the list, you cannot be a caregiver. but, you said you went to a doctor, you can still be a patient, and you can still have a caregiver. so if you had a previous caregiver > patient relationship, now YOU can be the patient. Kingdiamond
If it is on the list that's affirmative. Exactly what is the nature of your felony if I may ask?

Kingdiamond
Yes that's considered a violent crime sorry I think your unable to continue being a caregiver my felony was also listed but in the law Larceny of property is not a violent crime although it was on their list it didn't affect my status .
