Cow Manure

Is cow manure, straight from the pasture, any good for growing??

Works great for my tomatoes. Taking anything from the field into a grow room is always tricky. Smell, bugs, and anything else that can hitch a ride from the field into your grow room, will. If you compost with it, you'd have some great stuff. Outside, it would be a different story. Like I said, my garden loves it.

Not too mention alfalfa and other stuff that cows eat.

Cow manure should be fine we once grew a 12 foot plant inside of an old dog pen that had years of dog chit soaked into the soil another instance we tried the same thing inside an old chicken hut the bird manure burned to death every plant that came up within a month.
