John Conyers co-sponsored the States' Rights to Medical Marijuana Act.

 

Perhaps we should try harder to get him involved speaking with our state Reps.

 

He can bargain with Federal money, something that our State Congress understands and cares about deeply.

We are so fortunate to have his support in any capacity . Not only is he a Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee which is historically very conservative in makeup He has been under allot of scrutiny throughout his career because he stands up for Freedom of the oppressed . . The base of support for medicinal cannabis which will lead to research again is strengthening . Maybe in time we can end cannabis prohibition which destroys lives , causes death for little more then the personal whims of those who disagree with people of tolerance whom believe in personal choice . Everywhere it exists use basically remains the same as in prohibition only the misery is averted . Over 1 in 20 people use cannabis each month in the United States . Every 37 seconds a person is arrested often ending work and educational opertunities as well as taking resources from families in a horrendus economy .
