I know it may not always be used as edible, but what is the best safest way to make the simpson oil? I didn't like the idea of boiling flamable liquid but if thats the only way, then I'll make a safe place to do it. but I would like to know the best way.

Automatic rice cookers make it pretty safe, out doors. As suggested in the video.

That is the only link to the machine as of now there are only about 8 of them in the state. It is modeled after the old ISO 2 from the 70s but heats from the sides so no burning your oil.

The simplest way to evaporate the ISO or Naptha or whatever you are using is to use a crock pot,without the top on Just put it in a well ventilated area. i set it on high and check it at regular intervals. works great.
