There was a reason we used telephone booths/pay phones 'back in the day'.

I remember using land lines that would often 'click' while talking.

We used to say they were tapping the line.  Not so far off maybe?

 

The 'war on terrorism' is a war on the American people,

as is the 'war on drugs'.

Just a way for our gov't to scare the sheeple into thinking

that invasion of our privacy is for our own safety. hooey.

George Orwell's 1984 was required reading in HS.

I remember thinking that was hooey too.

 

Why does our gov't love war so much?
