at the last government oversight committee with sen mica, one of the washington DC police chiefs said that in white neighborhoods there were 100 calls for marijuana smell complaints and in the black neighborhood there was 600 calls for marijuana smell complaints.

 

why are people in the black neighborhoods calling so many more police than the white neighborhoods ? 

 

does the black community have a problem with calling the police on their neighbors? was the DC police chief just making stuff up? its an interesting statistic on the racist war on drugs , i havent seen it reported much.

 

tl;dr version : dc cop says blacks are arrested more because they get more complaint calls in black neighborhoods.
