MMMP Misdemeanor Probation

Has anyone been on probation and is still able to medicate with the MMMP without being violated?

I have my card for legitimate reasons and my P.O. is talking about violating me for test positive for THC.

He clearly stated, “You need to have a med card and a letter from a primary care physician (PCP) stating you need this”. It sounds easy until you try finding a PCP that will sign off on using your card to deal with chronic pain. All of the doctors’ offices say we don’t participate with that program.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Or maybe found a PCP that signed off on it?

Id really appreciate any advice. Thank you.

A letter from a cannabis specialist to the State is what got you the card most likely. That should be all you need. The law doesn't say it has to come from your primary care physician. Bring your PO the doctor paperwork you sent to the State.
