Mma policy at work

My job has a medical marijuna policy in place but says they are still zero tolerance I put my medical card on file per the policy and still ended up being suspended after being off work for 6 weeks and tested positive when I had to return to work. I feel it's contradicting to have a policy in place but still are held to dicespline. Any suggestions? Has anyone experienced this?

'Policy In Place' doesn't mean anything positive. 

A lot of bad employers will use a policy to further their bad agenda/intentions of firing people when they feel like it. 

In other words, when you put your card on file you played into their scam.
