I beleive if you all have your own plants in seperate locked rooms it should be legal. But the fed law could possibly get you with over 49 plants at the adress, im not an attny so i dont realy know this for sure, I would prefer to do it in seperate adresses so as to not attract as much attn to it! I would not hesitate to make a grow room for me and my better half, in the same adress. in locked seperate rooms, (what you do when no one is looking is your business)

Your fine just keep the plants labeled or in seperate rooms. Keep all your paperwork in order

yep it should not be a problem if u have your paperwork and your plants labeled i would just keep the plant count under 49 in one location to play it safe good luck

Over 100 plants is still crossing federal line and the feds have raided opps in Colorado of this size.

 

For safety reasons myself I would not.

 

This is a gray area and I would not want to be a test case myself.

I was only aware of the "under 100 plant rule" also, where are you guys getting this 49 number from?

100 plants is where federal minimum sentencing guidlines kick in. Ouch. There is a difference in maximum sentencing from 1-49 to 50-99 plants, though:

 

1-49 plants: Not more than 5 years

50-99 plants: Not more than 20 years

Hey Mandy, You might want to check with your local Gov. to see what is written for your locality. In the GR area they have it described as one caregiver per address helping 5 patients. Good Luck.. Peace, Love, and Big Buds...

I believe Federal raids and prosecutions in Colorado have not dropped below 100 plants, and they have nearly always targeted thsoe who have bragged to the media, "this year I'm going to gross $400,000" (or whatever non-blue-collar number they mention).
