Love the p-rock! bad brains are my personal favorite hardcore band.

Bad Brains rules. So happy to find it on my thumb drive!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoQAZDdl4LY

I make decision with precision Lost inside this manned collision Just to see that what is to be Perfectly my fantasy I came to know with now dismay That in this world we all must pay Pay to write, pay to play Pay to cum, pay to fight And all in time, With just our minds We soon will find What's left behind Not long ago when things were slow We all got by with what we know The end is near. Hearts filled with fear Don't want to listen to what they hear And so it's now we choose to fight To stick up for our bloody right The right to sing, the right to dance The right is ours... We'll take the chance A peace together A piece apart A piece of wisdom From our hearts

I didn't know that was Nap Murph Brock singin' that Yippie! Wow. I just learned something.

Who was singing the munchkin like "all day and all night and all afternoon..."?

I don't have any of my album/ CD sleeves easily available so..

I looked around.

Well... that isn't NMB doing the yippy ty o ty yay...

it is Kin Vassy. My bad. I could have sworn it was

Napoleon.

Now 'wiki' said that he 'munchkin' voices are Tina Turner

and the Ikettes. I don't recall reading that at all on the

album liners. I thought it was like Susie, Debbie and Lyne...

Those are the voices that the very 1st time I heard the song

I didn't realize they were voices and thought instead it was

some strange kind of instrument distortion. Hey, I was 17!

Sorry for the misinfo.. I'll double check before I rely upon

my increasingly failing memory!

No that is great to think about this stuff. We went wild when Frank made his exclamation mark with "Apostrophe"! So creative, funny, talented, innovative, and groundbreaking. Listen to what was being played that year, and then to Frank. Wow, light years ahead of his time, in my opinion. Thanks imiubu.

I actually had the good fortune to see Frank 5 times in concert w/ several

different band members... those were good times. The best for me was

at Rose Arena in Mt. Pleasant, MI. It was like a gymnasium and I was

4th row center... what a night. Oh, too funny... Ram Jam opened for him

and got swiftly booed off the stage. wth??? Who set that up??!

He played for a good 3 + hours that night.

The 1st album I heard was "Only in it for the Money' and remains my

fav today. The political commentary remains true to this day.

Such a visionary.

I saw Zappa Plays Zappa in '08 and they were incredible. Sheila Gonzalez

kicked some butt. She would have fit right in with any of Franks many

stellar bands.
