Nice video of Tabla Beat Science 1337. I once had an amazing album on Nonesuch of that instrument, but forgot what the instrument was called. I looked it up and it is the sarangi. The bowed one, I mean. You play the notes with your fingernails pressed against the string. I just looked up the album and it is Master of the Sarangi by Ram Narayan.
