Less than a week away! MOCC's 2nd Annual Harvest Festival is fast approaching, and all of the discounted hotel rooms have been booked. Please inquire with area hotels for rooms available at normal rates! Everyone is encouraged to dress for the weather, its been cooler and we have plenty of fire to keep us warm. Bring your lawn chairs and flash lights for help getting to your vehicle later in the dark. Bestes Hydroponics, 3 Doors Down, BDT's, THCF, and Cannabis Counsel have all generously donated as sponsors to this year's Harvest Festival. Downriver Compassion Club has a special surprise planned for everyone at their booth so please make sure to stop by. Two bands will be rocking the night away while we come together to celebrate another fruitful summer, and pay homage to our community, its been a hard year of trials amongst our community and its time to sit around the fire, reflect and look to the future and what we can do together.

Day of ticket sales and distribution of wrist bands for prepurchased tickets will be available from 4 pm to 6 pm in the breakfast nook at the Comfort Inn Suites, Clock Tower, 40455 Ann Arbor Rd Plymouth, MI 48170. Here you will need to present your receipt for your ticket and your valid patient or caregiver Michigan Medical Marihuana Program Registration Card. Only Valid Verified paperwork with proof receipt of mailing will be allowed. It is our choice for all paperwork approval or disapproval for tickets. Our mission is to keep everyone safe in a organized manner. Cannabis transactions are not permitted at the event.

Maps will be provided to guests at the Comfort Inn Suites at 6 pm, September 25, 2010.

While the turn out was not the greatest, I understand that the forecast for bone chilling cold may have kept many at home. Actually, with a bit of layering of clothes, it turned out to be quite pleasant. The MOCC did a great job with the entire affair, everyone who attended had a good time, as usual. I certainly enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting many new attendees. It is important that these types of events continue to happen throughout our community. The face to face conversations and sharing of ideas and telling personal stories of how cannabis therapy has impacted one's life are important for the cohesiveness of the community. Thank you MOCC for giving us the opportunity to get to know one another better, keep up the good work...Peace....j.b.
