Ph Drops In Bud Room

I would guess that you are experiencing a lower relative humidity now with the cold weather - so your plants are taking up more water than before but using the same amount of nutes, resuting in an decrease in pH. This is common in hydro.

Before you use pH up in hydro, check your nute concentrations. It is likely that your nute levels are too high, so adding plain water is probably the fix you need.

I'm growing hydro in a bubble tote and I realized my ph levels were dropping after I separated each plant from 2 in a tote to each having their own tote.

I had left the Second hole uncovered on my tote and I'm pretty sure it led to quicker evaporation of the water. When the water evaporates, it makes the nutes more concentrated, thus lowering the ph level.

I now make sure that I put lids on the extra holes in the totes, to avoid water from evaporating so quickly.

If you're using hydro, I would see if this may be

the problem

* I don't use PH up, I just use water. The ph level of my tap water is 7.
