What Temp? For Vapo?

Recommended Posts

Try Googling the exact model of vaporizer you have or check out threads on fuc!combustion.com. You'll find exact temps only matter on automatic fill, bag vapes and even then, you'll have to experiment with a few settings to see what works best for you. In my experience with manual draw vapes, higher temperatures seem to create a heavier body buzz while lower ones create more of a head high. If you get your technique down, this alone can make vaporization a lot of fun!

Also, make sure to save your vaped meds. I call it "duff" and dump it in a mason jar right after vaping. After saving it up for a while, I'll heat it up in some olive oil with a little bit of fresh green (roughly 70% old, 30% fresh) and it makes amazing brownies.

From my extensive experimentation, the only thing that holds true is that it depends on the strain you are using. Each one has it's own temperature that works best. I have a tendency to start on a lower temp and gradually ramp it up, there are several compounds being vaped here including THC and a variety of cannabinoids and terpinoids. Each of these compounds vaporize at different temps, ranging from 250 degrees f. right up to combustion...Peace...j.b.

The temperature that the vaporizer reads will be different than the temperature of the herb. So, pick a starting point, maybe around 300 F. If the vapor is too thick and harsh, drop the temperature down 5 or 10 degs. If there is no vapor, keep raising the temperature 5 degrees until you get the desired thickness of vapor. If you get a popcorn smell or taste the temperature is too high and is burning the herb. After a little experimenting you will find a vaporizing temperature range. For instance, you will start getting good vapor at 390 F and as the vapor starts to slow you will increase the temperature 5 or 10 degrees at a time until you reach 420 degrees, just before it starts to burn. My vaporizer I start at 190 C and end at 220 C(428F). Each strain will have a slightly different temp, but they will all be pretty close. Also, give you vaporizer 5 to 10 minutes to warm up. This will give you more accurate temperatures.

I have a easy vape. I'm still looking for the best temp but right now I'm at around 300 degrees.

start that easy vape at about 250f and go up a lil after that, the lower you set it to start the bettter it taistes, I have an easy vape also, i go from 250 all the way up t0 370 some times, I leave the unit on and take the erb off after a few puffs when im alone! (make sure you let it warm up good) if your choking your to hot most times! I have never burnt mine, but i brown it pretty good, good advise above about saving the used, I put it in alot of food products that only i eat, I just mix it in, but i mite try the brownie thing with it, sounds good, plus good munchies lol!

neiter one of my vapes go over 400 F i guess thats a good thing since i do save the leftover!

Peace

FTW

KindBuds was Kind enough to loan me a Digital Vape to try out, since my wife is just out of recovering from heart surgery, and my kid has asthma. (yeah, no more smoking in the house) I started at 150F and have worked my way up to 330F. got the old Swampy's in the chamber, and i am just now trying it.

First off, it's hard as heck for me to see if anything is really going on here. I am color blind, and so my sense of how dense the smoke is in the lil chamber, is weak at best. The hose on this model crimps too easily in my opinion, cutting off the flow of the good air. after taking what seemed like 3 "primer" draws, its occurring to me that the medicine indeed worked! this may be the start of a great relationship!

Excellent Post//// I myself start at 390-420ish. It helps to use moist med's only... Even if you have to mist it with water.
