Dea Drug Scheduling

Recommended Posts

"They" don't want to change it, "IT" (Cannabis) will put a serious hurt on Govt oil investments.

"They" are too heavily invested in OIL, CHEMICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL corporations.

"They" know if it were legalized for medical it would lead to legalized industrial hemp... the same hemp that could stop BIG OIL and BIG PHARMA (well not stop, but put a hurt on biddness).

"They" love to abuse power and legal law manipulation for political and financial gain. (home seizure, CPS taking your kids)... sounds like the WAR ON DRUGS is PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE.

And we won't see any change to that 'schedule' with the way the elections went ... and probably wouldn't have seen any change even if the Dems were still in there.

Too much money being made keeping 'cannabis' illegal'.

Oh well! Maybe in 2012.

Yeah... I know ... I've always been a dreamer.

There are a couple of interesting things on the table in MI now pertaining to cannabis of the non MM kind...

HR314 is a demand to the Federal government to get their asses in gear and distinguish the differences between low and high THC cannabis, and to remove low THC cannabis from the drug schedule.

HR6480 and HB6479 could also be very helpful in getting more cannabis acceptance going on in the state.. After all, if it's fine and common for the farmer down the road to grow hemp... It could eventually be fine and common to see a few MM plants in the back garden as part of the regular homegrown remedy garden :)

Hemp is fighting like hell to get recognized and accepted just as much as MM patients and recreational users.. A bunch of farmers talking crops just isn't that exciting to the media compared to live video shots of someone taking a bong hit. A picture of an industrial hemp field has not the wow factor of a few dozen bales of (gasp) POT- swarmed over by guys with guns even!!

I support all cannabis. It's about effing time we quit being scared silly by a stupid plant, and proceed to see what all we can do with the plant.

I believe part of the problem is that many Americans see the 'cannabis' issue as a 'Liberal' issue... one that is going to undermine the 'American Way'.

Add that belief to the fact that many 'law and order' types are going to be against cannabis 'legalization' no matter what evidence to the contrary might show because right now there is just too much money to be made by keeping it illegal... billions of government dollars are sent to the 'enforcement' agencies year after year and the 'enforcement' of the law has become a business' all unto itself.

Hopefully with a larger voter turn out that 'presidential' elections usually have we can get some sensible 'cannabis legislation' passed.
