Storing Pollen

had a friend who, wants to make crosses, ask how he should store the pollen. can it be frozen? whats the shelf life? tips/tricks for collection/application?

There's tons of info out there. I've done short term (2-3 months) storage in test tubes with a desiccant. Worked fine.

I have mine in a glass jar with cork top in the fridge. I was still good after 1 month so we will see next if it works.
