Just wondering what would happen if supporters that showed up at medical marijuana cases (where the court was not allowing a patient or caregiver to mention medical marijuana) came in wearing bright green jackets with "Medical Marijuana Advocate" on the front and back. The jury might get a clue of what they were not being allowed to hear. It would be even better if the judge made a big deal of having them removed from the court room....hopefully without an contempt charges.

 

That would work if we could even get people to the court room most times their are only a hand full of people that even show up thats the sad part

Bri, thats right jail is jail.... I know 100% that if my case ends up at trial.. I'M ALL READY GONNA END UP THERE, that's why we are at trial!!! better believe that the first impression that darn jury is gonna get from me I'M LEGAL SO SAID THIS STUPID CARD, gavel slam, contempt, court in recess they will know on day one what the deal is, and if they say mistrial, I will continue to do it I will promise everyone that reads this that this WILL happen.

They are trying to do this at are trial also but mistrials are very costly to the State and us too if a mistrial is going to happen then everyone would have to start all over like from day one

 

That's why you might as well let it be known on day 1,

 

If they mistrial then its just like a postponement, in my eyes lawyer will ask the first question and I will answer I was legal.

 

I'm so pissed off today, sorry but this is bullfish.. seems next to every post has something to do with a bust.raid,judge not allowing, I'm fed the F up with all this.

 

gosh wish I could go lower my blood pressure and smoke, wait NOPE CAN'T judge won't allow that in his court, bullfish..

we were lucky as to being the first here inn Mich they gave are cards back but when we go back to court this time they will try to take are cards for sure

at are first day inn court the judge said their will be no Medical Marihuana inn my town

Yes, Bob is right - we heard the judge in Howell issue an order not allowing Michael to say Joseph had a "medical marijuana card" - then she tightened her ruling a tad bit further and said no mention of medical marijuana.

 

We all know how that went :)):)););):)

 

Kudos to Komorn!

 

When he gets that video, it needs to be posted on our website for ALL to see.

 

Or, a documentary needs to be made about that case as education is the key in all of this...

i would love to have people see that video and i would like to see it again but i don't think it will be posted any time soon now if Eric. V was still here he could do it but the MMMA ran him off sorry i don't know how to say it any other way he got mad at some one here i guess i don't really know why he left but it wasn't on good terms maybe BB can E-mail him and ask if he could come back and help

A little bird told me that "the judge/that court in Howell" is giving Michael Komorn a hard time in his quest to obtain that video.

 

Do we all need to call the judge's office on Monday asking why nobody is allowed to order the video (and hopefully the audio as well - LMAO!)??????

p.s. is it just me or do all people with names like "L. Suzanne....." - or - "L. Brooks....." have personal/hypocritical personna's and vendettas against medical marijuana in any shape or form? Everyone in the State of Michigan needs to see (at the very least) the three days of the JURY TRIAL...leading up to them saying "Not Guilty on Count 1 & Not Guilty on Count 2"...and then "L. Suzanne what's her name continuing to berate Michael's client and telling him what he did was against the law right after he was found NOT GUILTY by a jury of his peers!

 

p.s.p.s. I guess what I'm trying to say to each and every one of you faced with ANY type of charges involving medical marijuana...and that is to take it all the way to a jury verdict...as that is the ONLY chance you have of WINNING!

I thought that is the only places i have heard that, and def a contempt of court a few times a day would be appropriate response to that!

 

if you are being tried by a michigan court they cant keep you from using your mm card as a defense, its a state law!

 

only the feds have that right unfortunatly!

Jim there was a case up in Manistee were a patient was caught medicating in the Little River Casino parking lot, being a Indian casino it is on federal land so it was a federal case. The guy didn't have his card or paperwork on him at the time so they charged him with a federal felony, when he produced his card in court for the judge, the judge dismissed his case on grounds he was a legal MMP. Seems funny to me that a federal judge will dismiss with a state card but a state judge won't hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Something is very very wrong here wabbit.

Right on Rich, I wouldn't bow down to those tryants either I'd fight like hell too if I was in your shoes. Keep positive bud your day is coming, I'm gonna try and make it up there for your court date it's the 18th of March right?

Come to think of it, when I was in the Howell Ct 2009, no jury, the PA was doing all the same BS, said It didn't apply , I Flashed my Card, pointed at it, Hon LSGeddes ordered me to put it down, had the bailiff come over and threaten me. The Point was nevertheless, expressed.

 

It may be Contempt but She was Already More Contemptible. Buy all rights if you have a State Issued Card you are Legal. I was allowed to cop to Unreg Firearm $150, MJ Dismissed...

 

I believe this is Denial of Due Process, among other things I'm sure ...

Judicial Statesmanship is Non evident.
