Ok. Doin the tear down of the room tonite. After I get the room clean what should I do?

 

Should I spray the walls and floor down with the mite spray or should I use a bleach and water solution?

If the room is empty, you can use a residual insecticide like spectracide. Spray everything and once dry, you're safe and back in business.

Don't have the fundage for more insecticide. Gota do with what I have on hand... Mite killin juice, bleach, water! Lol

bleach the hell out of everything and dont plant in there for a week or 2.

 

mites wont stay or go where there isnt food.

 

i am assuming you have had mite probs in the past? and thats why you are tearing down?

 

if thats the case, you really should find the fundage to do it right.... but if you need to skim, do it that way.

You can get the spectracide (Triazicide) at most home centers for under $10. If the room is empty, that's the way to go.

Get ahold of Tarzan and get some mite-rid that stuff is miraculous for prevention of veggin plants and works all the way till end of harvest!!! 30 bucks will get rid of the worst infestations and keep them gone...

Physan 20 works great...$10 a bottle and mix rate is usually 1 TBSP/Gallon for disinfecting/cleaning.

When they say you must spray everything... Do not leave anything dry. Tub's, Tile, Counters, Tools, Bottles, Walls, donkey Crack. GET EVERYTHING. Then once thats done. Do it again. Start a weekly regiment and stick to it.

 

I might be a little paranoid but I check the leaves twice a day.
