Pot Seized In Kingsford

KINGSFORD - Acting on a tip from the public, two men from Kingsford were arrested and could face charges for manufacture of marijuana.

 

Kingsford Public Safety Department officials reported that on Monday a significant amount of marijuana plants were seized from a residence on Breitung Avenue, along with cash, computers and cell phones.

 

A large amount of hydroponic growing equipment and a significant amount of processed marijuana were also confiscated from the residence.

Two Kingsford men were arrested and lodged at the Dickinson County Jail. Names of the suspects are pending arraignment in Dickinson County District Court.

 

A report will be forwarded to the Dickinson County Prosecuting for charges of manufacture of marijuana.

 

Kingsford Public Safety was assisted at the scene by the KIND Drug Team.
