Got some clones 12 days ago. In rockwool fresh cut with clonex dip. When should I move them into the bubble buckets? still no roots coming out of rockwool cube yet but they appear to be doing ok except for a few dead crispy leaves on a few.

can you keep pics posted?

i promise you a successful grow if you can :)

anyways......... i like to put them into hydroton/netpots/buckets/totes shortly after the roots begin showing outside the rockwool.

sure. so wait till roots show.

one more question i mixed up the nutes half strength 12 days ago thinking the clones would be rooted. how long is the solution good for? it is sealed from light.

as long as it has been in a cool, dark place, it should be ok.

put a bubblestone in it overnight and check numbers in the morning to be sure though.

no doubt it should be fine...... unless its been sitting uncovered in your 85° veg room for the past 12 days :)

looking good. just need patience :)

make sure you are letting the rockwool dry out quite a bit before adding a bit more water. the goal is to never have them soaked, but never have them totally dry either.

if you plant to move them under a MH lamp, yes, make sure you are far away.

you should be seeing roots soon!!

every tiny little thing can mean an extra couple days when it comes to cloning.

too wet, too dry, not humid enough, too hot, too cold..... its a game.

but the longer you play the game, the quicker you will find yourself scoring.

Had a few clones die. pulled them out to get a peek at the stems and guess what? Not even a nub of a root. Not going well.

Time to start over I guess. From now on only buying clones with root. :thumbsd:

don't get discouraged JB it takes time and patience to learn the routines....

i lost all of my first attempts but now a few months later i am learning the skill set to succeed, as u can too.

the joy of growing my own medication makes it all worth the effort....
