I was visiting shakedown street here in grand rapids met the owner really nice guy Joe is his name. Anyway while we were chit chatting one of his employee's was opening a shipment of pipes one of the diffusers was pink and looked totally like man junk. But the label said pink mushroom. Which now makes it ever funnier cause of the innuendo.

actually i ordered a new diffuser stem and ash catcher, but the kid at the store ordered the wrong diameter so he had to re-order and now i have to wait longer.

 

he gave me that colored ash catcher for free while i wait for the real stuff.

a diffuser stem is the long glass stem that actually goes inside the bong. most stems are just straight tubes of glass. a diffuser has many little holes at the bottom. this creates many smaller bubbles in the water instead of just a couple huge bubbles. makes for a smoother toke.

 

 

and the ash catcher is kind of like a mini-bong that attaches to the real thing. this mini bong catches all the ash and bad crap so it doesnt get your big bong dirty. it also makes for a smoother hit:

same exact pink ashcatcher, my problem I had with it is.. I accidently pushed a screen into the whole. Once it was in there I didnt see it coming back up so I pushed it all the way down. It is to big to come out now so I have a little .5" resin/screen ball thing floating in mine.
