The Lansing Three

In recent days it has been brought to my attention that we have three in Lansing who are being courted and lobbied by dispensaries developers from Colorado.

Sen.Rick, Jones, Rep.Bauer, and Rep.John Walsh want to bring the Colorado model to Michigan in order to skim as much money as they can from the patients and dissolve the 20,000 plus caregiver jobs we have started.

As they smile and nod in agreement with us about changes we would like to happen to secure our program at the end of our meetings they turn to the dark side and laugh at us.

The three signs of the apocalypse Jones Bauer Walsh are being lobbied by the oldest lobbying firm in Michigan paid for with Colorado dispensary money.

They are working behind our backs and outside the constraints of ethical practices to change our current system and REPLACE YOU CAREGIVERS with state run grows of sub-quality cannabis at a price NO PATIENT WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD and THE MONEY WILL NOT STAY IN MICHIGAN!

In the past week or so the trolling is off the charts and almost every single post say one or two has been some sort of attack on our admins, our law, and the community at large.

We even have people Madameviper for one, who links our patient advocacy site to her PORN SITE!!! She calls it 'pot tv' its porn, and something the state would and will use against us.

Things are bad, but not for us! Winking, blinking, and nod have been outed as our enemies and now that it is being made public we'll see how fast they scurry to the press to deny this and start to defend us patients and jobs of caregivers.

But make no mistake! MONEY IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THESE ATTACKS!

The patient is the motivating factor in fighting to keep this law. The quality of a persons life is not up for debate by anyone or for sale to anyone at any price.

Peace

We are ALL in this together

Sun Tzu said: The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy.

BB is that "good fighter of old" and we all ready have the means to defeat the enemy. These three politicians with their actions on medical marijuana have all ready betrayed the trust of those who elected them. They have abandoned their message of "small government," "government can't do anything right," and "keep government out of health care." They have become that which they ran against. As BB would say "we got them right where we want them." We just need to drive that message home on May 25.

:growl: Bauer is my Rep! Not only that I'm pretty sure she was a teacher at my High School!

I sure remember her face and name. This is from her web site. Yeah, whatever Joan. I'm

going to slam her with mail.

A longtime advocate for education, Bauer served as Chair of the Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittee and as Vice Chair of the Community Colleges Appropriations Subcommittee during the 95th Legislature. In her third term, Bauer will continue working to support small businesses so they can grow and create jobs for our workers, make sure that our taxpayer dollars are used wisely to support Michigan families, and protect key priorities like education, health care and police and fire services.

Bauer encourages all Lansing residents to contact her with their opinions or concerns at any time. They can call her at (517) 373-0826 or e-mail her at JoanBauer@house.mi.gov. They can also visit her website, bauer.housedems.com, where they can sign up for her e-newsletter.

Thanks my friend for getting the word out. When you publish on this site, the word quickly goes out! Our story is compelling. The sick and the dying being put under extreme pressure by corrupt politicians and the greedy. We will win! They will pay the ultimate price for their treachery! Thanks, Bb

This will be my final comment on this issue.

It is a trick among the dishonest to offer sacrifices that are not needed, or not possible, to avoid making those that are required.

- Ivan Goncharov

You caregivers and are the ones being offered up as sacrificial lambs, not the patients. The state isn't going to do anything to prevent patients from needing cannabis.

A patient will always be able to grow simply because not all of us need a CG but the state is looking at the ones now and in the future who don't want to, can't grow for themselves because of their health, or where they live so they'll need to depend on the state dispensary.

Do not doubt for one moment that every single CG job can go away if Colorado doles out enough green, and I ain't talking cannabis!

The last time I looked at the MDCH numbers we have fifty thousand plus patients and about 80% get the reduced rate because they are disabled and or meet income guidelines. Funny thing they didn't list the number of caregivers.

So lets say 20% of those patients, five thousand patients, cannot grow for themselves and need to depend on a CG to provide for example an ounce a month, do the math.

Instead of our elected officials standing up to defend Michigan jobs they're now secretly conspiring behind closed doors to export Michigan jobs and money to Colorado and deny twenty thousand Michigan residents the right to work, help where needed, and provide for their family as well.

Our community practices some Republican values and believes in some of their principles and that's another point that got me riled up!

we practice self reliance, provide our own health care, pay our bills, we don't want the government involved in our daily lives, CG's are small business entrepreneurs, and we want less regulation not more.

Aren't those the same talking points the GOP/Tea Party used in the last election cycle?

Isn't that what they are using to attack the present administration on and yet they want to take over this program, manage our health care, and take away money from those who desperately need an income.

Talk about hypocrisy in broad daylight! I want to see them try and dance around those points.

But all of us, the entire community, in particular caregivers, we have to put Lansing in check on this and ask..no scratch that,

DEMAND FULL DISCLOSURE OF WHAT THE ASSOCIATION IS BETWEEN JONES, WALSH, AND BAUER WITH THE COLORADO DISPENSARY INTERESTS

I believe in cannabis it saved my life! I am working on my video along with my brother, a Marine who lost his leg to diabetes.

I no longer take 240 -300Mgs of Morphine, 45-60Mgs of Vicodin, or 700 - 1050Mgs SOMA a day, I did that every single day for fiver years. Now IF needed I use one 15Mg Oxycodone and or one 10Mg Methadone a day along with 1-3 grams of cannabis..That's it!

I know I get long winded at times but I'm fighting along side all of you to protect our caregivers from becoming just another occupation that Michigan used to have.

Peace

We are ALL in this until the end

IMHO, nothing is more honorable than to defend the weak against tyranny. Using that measuring the current state government has no honor. They are trying to steal what little the poor have. Look at their proposed cuts! Thank God the rich are safe :notfair: Thanks, Bb

Amen to that....Just watched a bit of "kennedy's home movies" on the Learning Channel (TLC) Very much in step with current issues.

Bobby was unaware of poor people, He tried, people of all ages loved him.

We must do all we can to make these three look bad in the press over this issue. Every chance we get we need to point out the hypocrisy of of saying "no gov take over of health care because gov can't do anything right" then trying to take over medical marijuana health care and put 20,000 caregivers into the unemployment line.
