Facility Takes Away Wheelchair So Patient Cant Move Outside To Medicate

I don't know how to embed, so I'll just put a link here. He has MS, is paralyzed and the facility took away his motorized scooter so he can no longer drive up the drive and medicate for his condition. He is confined to bed for seven days as punishment.

 

 

 

I feel so bad for this guy.

This is outragous !!!

Find out who the Doctor is and pull his/her license.

Bed sores will get infected and often with MRSA, which is highly resistant to antibiotics....his life is being endangered by the petty power of a beauracrat !!!

This is not current . It is from years ago incase anyone is worried it is happening right now .HIs Canadian card had expired at this time also and nobody helped him re apply due to the guardians beliefs plus the facility not letting him use on site . They said they would try to find a new facility to accomidate him last I heard .

I had hoped to see an update to this tragedy, wishing for a positive outcome for this poor guy. That's one more person who will not trust the system! Way to go, government who pretends to represent THE PEOPLE! I know about being a prisoner, though my legs still work. I still hope he can SUE them for as much as possible, though we all know it'll never compensate for the pain and suffering they caused. This society is hopeless as long as tyranny reigns. I sure hope this rally will make a difference in OUR favor for once.

All I have to say is look out if you do that to me(I'm in a chair) 450lbs in my chair your foot bones are mine! LOL

 

YEAH!! Thats what I'm talkin about! Thats the spirit guy!

For real tho I don't know how peoples families don't seek out and kill these people more often. I don't condone that but can't deny having those thoughts myself. Especially when my Dad first went in the home he is in. Sounds like this dude can handle his own! With the attention he raised I am sure he is being treated alot differently now. They know they won't keep him quiet thats for sure. And major props to him for taking the huge RISK of alerting people of his abuse. I at first wondered if he got abused for it, but I don't think that one smugg biotch liked getting grilled like a sammich in front of the world. :sword:

And if Montel Williams is the guest speaker at the rally someone should pass that video on to him. He would be horrified too I bet. Maybe he can look into this guys current status.

you are right this is not happing right now but the fact is i watched the program it was on and he was auctally leaving the grounds to smoke so he was'nt breaking any of there rules that's why they to his powered wheel chair so he could'nt go off there property to smoke that's what i find to be very discusting he was trying to not break the rules and because some scum bag person at the home did'nt think he should be smoking took his chair away so he could'nt what a joke

I just fired two doctors for uncompasionate reasons and lack of knowledge of me, my condition a SCI (spinal cord injury) (long story). First thing I was taught was to direct you own care. I hope this man found a better place to live.

This Inferiorates me!!! Makes me want to punch out all their teeth and to be honest SilverBlue (on this one You go Girl!) I have to say id break all thier legs, arms and confine them to bed rest.. Then step it up a notch force feed synthetic drugs down their throats in the process drug them out of this world and then let them sit in their feces and pee to rot!!!!! AHHHHHHH wow that felt nice to say.. My grandmother was dieing and my grandfather and my uncle could no longer care for her so they put her into a home for her last days.. she began to complain of being mistreated. Manhandled, poked and prodded all hours of the night while she tried to get rest.. you name it.. grandfather demanded something be doone.. After time this continued and Grandpa had enough seeing his wife of 66yrs suffer more then her death was giving her.. he being the hard man he always has been told then in desperation and anger and pain if they didnt leave his wife in peace he would bring in his colt 45 and be sure they took care of her... Cmon you have to understand the 84yr old mans side in this.. what did they do.. they banned him from seeing her. She died not even a week after they banned him from her. They wouldnt even let him go see the body for closure before they cremated her! WTF is that!! So what he was standing up for his mate! Hed never have brought a gun in darn it but in that situation Id have said the same crap to those people essentially they dont give a rats! God I wont even get into the mistreatment they gave to my mom. Even so far as the director of the Grand Rapids Airway Oxygen DENYING my mother her tanks when she began using more and more despite drs referrals.. in the end due to it they would literally SHORT the woman of her breath!! Trust me was a big fight with them which ended in vain.. then the nurses and drs in the hospital she spent her last days in.. i dont even want to talk about it i am so furious as is.. i wanted to kill them mame them all on the spot and make them suffer the hells they put her thru.. going so far as to tell her.. "oh Deb stop buzzing us every couple of minutes we have other patients to tend to worse then you!" We were all in the room when this was said.. OD held me back and dad stood up like excuse me who the hell you think you are!!! They almost escorted him out but glad they hadnt.. if it wasnt for od and the fact that i needed to be by mom i was ready to lunge at that nurse.. all of them.. i hope i die in my sleep better yet where is Kavorkian? I commend the man in our day and age id rather take the choice to end my own life then to suffer the hells of the medical ind and our lives ending by them anyway! BOTTOM LINE! MY LIFE AND MY DEATH SHOULD BE MY CHOICE NOT THIERS AND HOW IT COMES ABOUT AND THE MEDICATIONS!!!

In the end Mom had them pull the plugs.. she knew it when we were there visiting her so did dad but they wouldnt tell us.. not even prepare us.. reason for her decision she was tired of fighting. She was tired of being mistreated.. that monday they told us they wouldnt let her back home again so shed have to live in a care home.. the catch the one they were going to send her to was in Ann Arbor quite a distance from her home in grand rapids.. for how long i asked.. until shes well enough to get out or... Or death i said? what about the distance her family would have to travel to be with her? we couldnt leave her alone so far and alienated from home.. we had no choice in the matter essentially. that was, according to dad, another deciding factor in her decision. Dam this system ALLL OF IT!!!!!! :notfair::notfair::notfair::notfair::notfair::notfair:

 

God bless that man and every other poor soul suffering this and worse...
