Federal Appeals Court Will Hear Arguments On Behalf Of Joseph Casias

Recommended Posts

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Federal Appeals Court will hear arguments tomorrow on behalf of a man who was fired from Wal-Mart for using medical marijuana.

Joseph Casias said he uses the drug to treat the symptoms of a brain tumor and cancer.

Casias was fired from Wal-Mart's Battle Creek location after testing positive for marijuana despite being legally registered to use it.

The American Civil Liberties Union hopes the court will reinstate the lawsuit which was dismissed by a Federal District judge last year.

It is a sick and failed scoiety when the wealthy 1% can tell all the rest they have to buy and consume only approved things in order to feed the greedy even more billions via the by and for the people system ( really?) doing their bidding.

I am concerned about asking the feds to rule on anything MMJ related, even very good cases, as any time it gets into federal court we risk the WHOLE ACT being voided as being in conflict with federal law.

Never ask a question unless you are prepared for the the answer.
