are farmers markets open still?   also can a caregiver purchase from a farmers market or dispensary?? i know they are illegal to be open  but the very few that are still open.

A caregiver or patient can legally purchase from anyone.  It is the person selling it to them that may be in trouble legally if they are not connected to the patient through the MMMJ program.

As you say in your original post, they are technically illegal, much the same way cannabis is illegal in Amsterdam. Illegal yet above ground and tolerated because we realize the spirit under which this law was written.
