Wild Bill
There are questions asked here almost daily regarding what is and isn't permissible under our ever changing Michigan Medical Marihuana Act. Don't believe everything you read on the forums. Stay informed, stay safe. The Michigan State Police publish periodic legal updates on this site: http://www.michigan.gov/msp/0,1607,7-123-1645_4607_57129---,00.html These are the guidelines that the State Police will use when interacting with medical cannabis patients. So no matter what you believe to be true or wish were true, these are the standards you will be held to. This is the last update pertaining to medical cannabis. http://www.michigan.gov/documents/msp/MSP_Legal_Update_No._103_423389_7.pdf (If this thread could be stickied we can add updates as they come in and everyone can have easy access.) t-pain
michael komorn has kept a list of the relevent updates: http://komornlaw.com/michigan-state-police-legal-updates/ very useful, but can be reversed by supreme court, as it has been done twice. Celliach
I use to keep mine as far back in the van as I could inside of a padlocked tool box. I now drive a car with a trunk.
Petyr
Enclosed in a case that is inaccessible from the interior of the vehicle, if the vehicle in which the person is travelling does not have a trunk What place in a Mini van that is --- inaccessible from the interior of the vehicle?? under the hood? That is an error on their part. If you click on the link they provide, the law actually reads: b) Enclosed in a case that is not readily accessible from the interior of the vehicle, if the vehicle in which the person is traveling does not have a trunk
+Malamute
I wrote a letter to the MSP legal team and pointed out the error. I have seen no update on it.
