Wondering what the current height requirements are for fencing in Michigan.  Chain link fence Okay?

No height requirement. Must be enclosed with a top. Chain link would qualify.

I went with 6' height and plants grow to fence. End up bending or tying down to keep from going thru fence.

Plan for next year is to raise to 8' height. 

Chain link fence would be great. Know people who us 2 x 4 welded wire.

I used a 10' square dog kennel for the roof, which is 4 sections 6' x 10'.

I'm considering something similar, but with cheaper material than chain link. I'm looking at galvanized steel deer fencing, with an improvised cover.
