I'm surprised no one has mentioned this band.. Tool. Amazing band, I love their music!

 

 

 

Thought I replied to this last night. Tool is a great band for sure. I never really got into them. It might be a little too calculated for my taste. A little too "perfect" sounding, you know what I mean? Saw them on the side stage at Lollapalooza.

my favorite Tool disk is their first EP, Opiate. i like it for the same reason Mezz isn't super enthralled about their stuff. Opiate is really raw, and has a few live tracks on it. i actually got to see them on that first tour. it was kind of a big deal because a bandmate of mine at the time knew Maynard from when he went to school here for a time.

Big UFO and scorpion fan here have met Michael Schenker 3 times in person saw him play countless times going all the way back to the strangers in the night tour in 78.

 

 

I also met the other members phil mogg paul raymond pete way at harpos in the mid 80s on ufos misdemeanor tour in 1986 another thing i saw the scorps first usa appearance at the world series of rock in the late 70s im also a big Uli Roth fan too he of the sky guitar . :thumbsu:
