Looking For A Caregiver

This is the worst thread I have read. All I see is a student looking for a free ride, I do not know his circumstances but when I went to college we all had our own marihuana or took turns, we could ask a friend to front a bit. I guess we didn't have the internet to ask for free Marihuana. How much does college cost these days? I will give free to Vets Cancer patients, etc, not students going for pre law, maybe.

I agree Ganja Warrior...That is a touch outside the realm of reality and was typing something to that affect. $200 an ounce is FAR from retail and even farther from street prices and/or dispensarys.

As a "seasoned grower" such as yourself, what is the approx amount produced from each of the 12 plants that get pushed thru the rotation to completion and how long on average does this take to get 12 thru? There certainly must be overages that could be transferred to other caregivers, patients, and dispensary's to cover their growing costs and the oz donated to the patient monthly. It should not be unrealistic to receive an oz donated monthly if you are low-no income and then the caregiver can transfer the overages to whomever legal they wish. There was a news report on tv recently that caregivers should average 40grand per year. So over time when the caregiver is up and running smoothly that they could make a decent living transferring all these overages. You can't pretend it's not the case. Lets not kid ourselves here. I have zero income and unable to work. So I need a caregiver that is compassionate and willing to donate an oz monthly. Not all caregivers who offer free meds are a fluke. Because I sense there is alot more like me then the patients able to pony up 250 to you for every oz. I am sure its worth it but its not feesable for alot of us. That doesn't mean we should suffer. maybe if this kid pays for my legal battles for a decade if he even passes the bar I will give him free meds and hold him accountable to a contract nptarized by another attorney.

i feel the love...its real nice to think that, to even say it. But then theres always that pesky reality thing. If you really think 200 for an o of grade a meds is that outrageous heres what id like to do...id love to sign all my stuff over to u...we and my (soon to be urs) patients will be needing an o a week. for free since u can grow my plants... and we like to keep track of ur overage, if you have extras you can sell from growing my plants i want half, beside you should feel very lucky to be growing these.

 

200 an o comes out to a bit over 7 dollars a gram....no go to a dispensary and see what they charge. thats why they r retail. so you will grow for free and pay me for the priv of growing them right? ill call and we can sign papers bring a pile with ya my head hurts. lol

 

I have used cannabis for the better part of twenty years and I have never, ever, ever paid more than $200 an ounce. As a grower over the last year and a half, first for myself and then for other patients, I wouldn't know where to find folks who would be willing to pay that and I don't think I could live with myself for charging that much.

 

If you are really looking for a caregiver, please send me a PM. I charge $150 an ounce - period.

 

And just so you know, I am no bleeding heart liberal socialist. I run my garden as a business and shoot for roughly $40 an hour in gross pay and benefits for myself. $150 an ounce covers all of that and more.

 

I expect a dispensary to charge retail. They need room for mark up. What do you think the dispensary pays per ounce from the patients and caregivers supplying it? If a patient wants to run the legal risk and transfer to another patient, they are welcome to charge retail as well. It's none of my business.

? If you were my caregiver then yes you can have free stuff too! I only need 1oz per month so you get all the overages to transfer over to pay for

the services to me and the rest you transfer is simply your profit. Its perfect. You profit with cash and I profit with some relief. Deal?

And if its too much a risk for you to transfer over the overages to other cg, pt, disp then you must be disposing of them or handing them over to leo. Don't do that!

I have a better idea. If you're not really profiting then lets just grow me 1 single plant every 2months and the price

I pay for the 2oz covers the meds and your services. That way no wasted meds or nutes etc. Not interested? I didn't think so!

She has recovered and is doing pretty good thank you so much for asking. We became self sufficient and have had great success in that department.

 

Right on Dude thats great to hear! Nobody should ever have to be at that place. Its a horrible feeling to have. And I hope with you both now being self sufficient that

she will never have to look down that road again. The medicine doesn't solve everything but it darn sure helps bring the relief I

I just don't agree because your way makes it impossible for me to have meds. I don't care to hate on you. Infact, I don't give a darn about you. Some people don't know what it is like to be ill,not be able to work anymore,and feel like a burden to your family. I don't know you MP,but you just keep on the way you are.I have a loving husband that takes care of me,too. My best to your wife and to you. MW

Seems to me everyone needs to smoke some weed. This place is starting to sound like an AA meeting for God's sake. If im happy and my patients are, and you are happy and so are your patients then who gives a darn what it costs? For mine, it's free. For yours, it's not. Simple as that. I feel that they are supplying me with not only a small income, but also they give me the satisfaction of knowing that because they chose me they know that I will deliver regardless of whether or not their check was cashed, or they missed work for a hospital stay, or they are going to law school. Cancer patients and vets come in all shapes and sizes, inluding college students. ,

I guess part of me believes that we are doing the patient a service and should get paid for it. And again, without the patient there would be know service to provide. So i am just trying to make it worth it to both the patient and myself. Not one of my patients have ever "demanded" anything, or even asked for free meds.

Am i doing it to get my plant count up? sure, ok. How else could you afford to give out free meds? Seems like a win-win though to me.

I have not got the answers, but im not dumb. I will listen to and would love to know a better way if there is one. This is supposed to be a learning and networking site i thought. Personal attacks? Come on really ?

Ever think that maybe a caregiver might actually be helping someone in the form of adding enough plants on the patients behalf to get them a little free medicine plus throw in enough that the grower can legally move the overages thus getting compensated on the patients behalf without the needy patient haveing to pay for anything.

a caregiver who doesn't offer free or drasticaly reduced prices for meds to their signed patients is only in it for themselves. come on now, a low estimate for per plant harvest is 2 oz. each ( I get 4+), with 4 patients I harvest 3 plants per patient per month, they get 1, I get 2. I transfer my overages to a dispencery for $300 per oz. thats enough money to pay expences and leave a fat stack for my efforts. without the patients signing me as caregiver I'd have nothing, or an illegal grow. I'll pass on both!!
