On October 14, 2010, Michigan's Court of Appeals denied my request to film the oral arguments, in People v King, which are scheduled to be heard on November 4, 2010. I've attached below my emergency motion for reconsideration.

 

Matt Abel is representing the defendant in this Medical Marihuana case that was dismissed by the Circuit Court and then appealed by the prosecutor. The Circuit Court dismissal order is also attached.

Eric,

 

Is there anything the rest of us can do to help in the process? If not is there something we can start working on to help with making sure future arguments in front of the court are able to be chronicled via electronic recording?

 

Thanks for all the leg work and research you do for the community, it is very much appreciated.

That was a great read. I feel so much better personally from reading it and I'm on the edge of my seat like anyone paying attention to this landmark case. Clearly the people and the circuit courts have spoken. Wouldn't media coverage secure the interests of all parties concerned?

 

to hot a topic with money interests saying who and what gets coverage

They base their whole argument on the definition of facility? I wounder how many dictionaries the prosecution read until they found a narrow enough definition to server their purpose?

Services and space and equipment provided for a particular purpose

Every dictionary includes a definition that would include KP's dog pen as a facility. Even their diction uses the term ect., which could include place or structure.

And the one burning question remains . After all this crap and all the hopla. Not one person has come to me and asked .How you doing Larry. Where is the compassion with all that.In the long run i have not felt to much love out of all this mess and wish it would just go away.Ok you did your job i feel dirty not up to standard. I need punishment not love thats all i have seen from this matter from day one. Im really surprized that i have not sucome to some stress related illness yet . But they are still working on me

Larry!!

 

You have a reporter working hard on your case.

 

You have many people that read this thread, just to keep up with the latest news on your case.

 

Please don't assume that you aren't important to people here.

 

BTW .. the dog kennel was a good idea. I use it myself. Makin' hay while the sun shines :)
