Good points. The decision makers in gov are only a small portion of it though. Yes we must all participate and the change does come through us. A big part of the problem comes from not just the decision makers, but the decision enforcers as well. LEO for example willfully ignores the decisions that we have made, like the MMMA, and for the most part are immune from the same treatments that they dispense. It is all part of the problem and getting bigger and controlling more might not be the best thing. The system needs to demonstrate that it still respects the individual citizen, which has been missing for quite some time now. The ACA that you want to to defend, which is good intentioned, is the product of big corporations and lobby groups. It really is not any different than the interests that are trying to take away home grows. Big corps and big lobby throwing big cash at politicians.

So you take over the city councils and dictate what local LEOs do.  All the solutions we need are there.  It's just up to us to do it, and sitting on internet forums spouting false conspiracy theories like the New World Order crap that are spread around by the very people using our government to rule us isn't helping.  It's just confounding the problem by making people believe the problem is something other than it really is.  What's more likely: a worldwide conspiracy that has been going on since the 60s that nobody who's involved with it, not one of the tens of thousands pf people that are needed to pull it off, will talk about, or that some rich corporate fatcats have spread rumors that there are people wanting to take over our government so we should support them instead?  We have whistleblowers all the time telling us what's happening, and still a small segment of the population keeps taking our focus away from the real problem by spouting the nonsense about New World Order and mind control through fluoridated water, and other silly stuff that the puppeteers are using to occupy us while they take/took over the US government.

Get involved, change things locally.  Remember that old hippie meme? "Think globally, act locally."

Here's people stepping up and doing something:

Pink Lemonade for Peace

A five-year-old girl set up a lemonade stand "for peace" right across the street from a notorious church in Kansas which has been accused of spreading hate and homophobia wherever it goes.

The purpose behind young Jayden Sink's beverages is to raise money for a nonprofit organization called Planting Peace, which supports orphanages, works to conserve rainforests and provides medication to poverty-stricken children all over the world.  (Go to link for more, including pic.)

I think it is safe to say that there are problems with all types of government without it leading to NWO conspiracies. Seems like that is just deflecting from admitting that there are real problems.

There's a 10% approval rating for congress, and 90% of the incumbents that ran last cycle were re-elected.

Who's fault is it that our government sucks?

The fault lies in the culture of public employment. Once your in the club a different set of rules apply. The two parties are ramming these people down our throats. Unfortunately there are a large number of people that view elections as a popularity contest.

That was one of my main points.  I honestly believe that some of the people spreading that crap continuously are shills for the real conspiracy.  "Hey, look at this made up stuff over here so you can get mad about that and waste your energy instead of going after the people that are really taking over the government."  I'm talking about people like Alex Jones, and that one person that's on every forum that only posts about conspiracy theories and never posts anything about what the forum is actually supposed to be used for.
