I recommended him in another thread that mentioned homeopathy but folks interested in this topic should definitely read Ben Goldacre or go to his website badscience.net. You may be shocked at how the FDA relies on company sponsored clinical trials, how new drugs don't have to show evidence of improvement over old drugs (a technique big pharma uses when one of their blockbusters goes off patent), how negative results almost NEVER get published, how doctors rely on drug marketing reps, well the list goes on and on.

 

And then we're told by some politicians that there isn't enough evidence as to the medical efficacy of a zero toxicity plant that has SO much evidence in its favor, not just massive amounts of anecdotal evidence but solid scientific research.

i was thinking about the biased and broken studies that NIDA does about marijuana, if those studies are approved by peer-reviewed journals, then what other kind of 'science' is getting published???????
