I've never got more than a half ounce off a plant. But I've heard reveg equals hedge.lol large area for root space supposedly helps

You can get some really nice growth if the plants are big because you are using the more powerful sun for budding earlier in the season. In the fall when most people are budding the sun is getting further away. 

The whole thing depends on if you can get some big plants early. It definitely can be done. My outdoor plants are usually huge way before they start to bud.
