Man...

 

Has anybody had this nasty critter get inside them???

 

I had no symptoms one minute the next I was freezing

cold, shaking and piling on clothes, sox like mad. I turned

up the heat (please note that you would want to wear a

sweater to my house if you were prone to get chilled. I like

it on the cool side). Now my hands are frozen to the bone,

nose like ice and dripping, yeah... lovely, right?. I pulled my hoody

up, tied a bandana around my face and put some little gloves on.

Within 15 min or so, my breath is like fire, my flesh is like hot coals

yet I am freezing inside. Dang, I buried myself under several

layers of blankets, etc... gotta ride it out.

I am serious folks this came on out of no where and literally

smacked me down hard for about 36 hours.

I feel pretty good now. My bro just brought me over some

extremely yummy food (he is an awesome cook).

I still feel fever goofy :blink:

 

Glad to have beat the thing off so quickly. There are some

that may not be able to. This was harsh. I got a high

thresh hold, but this sucker had me good.

It is really scary if you think about it. Something you can't see

so viciously invades your body like that and there essentially

little you can do about it.

 

I just want people to know, it's out there and beware. If

your immunity is low please take extra precautions while

you're out. I'm a washing hands freak and I got it.

If you are feeling flu like symptoms and live alone...

call family or friend to alert them of your condition.

 

I'm not trying to be a fear monger... that is not my

style.

It is some scary stuff.

Have heard of this before happening, one called it the 24 hour flu.

 

Just glad you are better now!

 

I figured that out after my fever broke!

I've had it before but this was way worse.

Maybe, it's just that I'm getting a bit older :notfair:

Haven't been sick... like that, in so long,

Whew

 

Glad that all who have had this bug kicked it or are in

the process of.

 

MoreCowBell, I hope your little on is on the mend.

I meant this as a warning, but do appreciate

all your concern :D
