Dea Regional Chief Barbra Roach: "marijuana Has No Known Medical Value"

Declaring that marijuana has no known medical value, The DEA’s new regional chief Barbra Roach has also let it be known that she would find a place to live that does not allow medical marijuana businesses. It is not surprising that in Colorado, where voters have approved medical marijuana, some find her comments to be more than a little offensive.

 

“By federal law, marijuana is illegal,” she told the Denver Post. “There is no medical proof it has any benefit.”

Politics before science. Their credibility is dropping like a rock. Fairly obvious they are fighting a losing battle . Everyone knows the Earth is flat ... and alcohol is not a drug, plus is much safer, cigarettes dont cause cancer. The economy is getting better... Free trade agreements will provide jobs in America... Nuclear energy is cheap and safe... We're running out of gas ...

It is a poor reflection on our Democracy how minority interests have become so powerful we can't irradicate their influence of damage and waste effecting the Citizenry . This is America and I never have seen a medical cannabis patient react with anything but support for those who do not use medication including cannabis when possible .

 

Prohibtionists who rarely even have a need for use are all so obsessed with making sure those who have no comfort , who scream in the nite facing realities of life and death not only don't have access but spend their money needed for food , healthcare , and rent on laughable treatment programs and court costs if discovered . They literly take a person who needs special accomodation to have any chance of contributing to our economic output and bancrupt them forcing them onto the streets to die after first locking them up with real criminals . After their done doing time their only way to survive is to put into practice the criminal education they aquire or use Government programs like medicaid , food stamps , government housing etc . and cycle back wiser and broker . Wouldn't it be better to just let these people work like we did before drug testing when it comes to cannabis . I never remember any problem until testing started . Very profitable for those whom run it and able to ruin a person despite some tests having a known error rate in percentages up to 15% . Zero tolerance has become a tool of abuse .

 

BTW Michigan won yesterday and plays at 4;10 on CBS today for those who are into college hoops . .
