Your 100% correct, everybody in the tribe, not making money off the deal felt the same way. It went bankrupt within a year, and was sold at less than the cost it took to build it.

Just a few notes on your scenario, dear. Relax, try not to take this personally ...  Their was a lot happening during these times.  The Great Depression was in fact our economy being manipulated by the FED which formed Dec 23, 1913. Prior to this we were a pacifist country with a bright future. Next came WW1, the "Spanish" Flew, Black Teusday the 1920 Wall St crash, Bank of NY, failed 1931....Austerity or Famine? call it the Great? Depression. The New Deal? ingeneous! TV, Radio, Theater, Hollywood. Truman & Stage 3 of the Iron Age: Hiroshima, Nagasaki.  Korean War. Reagun, SAG and the McCarthy Hearings: poof: The Cold War, another War with an ambiguoUS name. How about the Vietnam War?  Not very cold there. Johnson/Nixon the Columbian Drug Wars. How about the "Iran" Contras? in Nicarauga? cold?... They ever find what happened to Hoffa? Not likely, what was buried with him was a lot of pension fund details. Cool business? Cold War. Nixon... Hmmmm... Seems that is a regular occurence these days. Companies are sold/bailed out by foreigners or governments and when that happens the retirement/pension funds go with them and disappear or are exchanged for stock options in allready failed industries. ​As far as Stalin helping himself to major chunks of real estate, it was more or less what happens after a war. Thats where Israel came from.  It was mostly a choreographed/orchestrated plan to dethrone the Ottomans. Hitler was given the first dance, he took his best shot. I'm a Native American, Atheist, with no desire for a Muslim run country. That said I don't want any religion telling me how I should live, or what life decisions I should be making.

 

I don't get a monthly check regardless of where I live, but there is an elder fund of a few hundred a month, If I turn 63.

 

The right to hunt and fish (non-commercially) is a tribal issue, and hunting and fishing permits are handed out, through the tribe. My hunting/fishing season is extended, but still regulated through my tribe.

 

I'm a dual citizen of both my tribe and the U.S. Puerto Ricans are extended the same benefits.

 

To be fair I can take classes the rest of my life at any MI college, but it's not extended out of state. So far the benefits have amounted to very little for the Natives, (who have been on a rigged playing field since the beginning) and the settlers, got America.

 

Boots on the ground? Maybe if those boots belong to teachers.

are you at least close enough to have seen the differences on the tribal lands to see the benifits of casino's to native americans?  what I said about mt pleasent is most def true, at least the part of it going from a slum to new homes and nice cars!

No sweat sweety. Nothin to argue with anyway, just facts. Big bussiness runs the country inc da WH. No argument there, remember Michelles'  commercials for Wallmarts: the eat rite gig. Employees gotta use food stamps to get 3 squares a day. You go girl!  

 

Keeping my fingers crossed the Senate denys his 2015 Defense Appropriations Bill, complete with an attachment from your boy Mcain to give 2400 acres of Apache burial grounds in the Tonto National Forest to the Canadian/Enlish/Austrailian/Chinese Mining Corp  Rio Tinto  .  Like we need more Uranium coming outta the ground. They dont have a clue what to do with the 65 years worth of spent fuel they've already unearthed. Most still sitting on site at your local neighborhood Nuke Plant.  Whats wrong with US mining the crap anyway. Or the Indians for that matter.
