MightyMightyMezz
The little buds growing off your buds are foxtails. It's nothing bad. Some sativas tend to do it.
Grow Thread
i had one foxtail pretty good. here is a great example. calyx growing on top of calyx. almost ZERO leaf matter.
Grow Thread
and typically they will finish with that "upside-down pyramid" shape. i will say with a GREAT deal of certainty that this CAN be humidity related. i had fairly high humidity in this room (60+%...it was a breeding room and didnt have all the expensive toys in it) and i had foxtailing. i took clones, and those went into the actual flower room with the same temps, just a lower humidity, (30-40%) and i had rock solid buds all the way. boroboro
Can't foxtailing be associated with high heat also? I had some foxtailing in a previous grow, with an indica-dominant hybrid, and I was thinking it could have been a bit of excess heat at the end of flowering. Long, extended flowering can trigger this foxtailing also. But Tarzan of the cannabis jungle is only 7 weeks into flower...

The temp is maintaining around 75 degrees The humidity is at 49 % They have a Real Strong Skunky Smell , But Sweet ... I really like the smell ... As soon as you walk in the bedroom it's like WoW.... I guess my main concern is how effective the Meds will be.... I mean all i could do is when they become Milky --- All i could do is trim as much leafs off of it as Possible and then cure it the Best i can and see how it turn out ? I had read at another forum and there are different oppions of foxtailing ? Some have said some of the Best Strain do this and will Rock your world ... Also i have stop feeding it and have started Flushing it every other day ... I' ll flush it till it finishes out ? Im not sure what else i could Do ? boroboro
Hey, if you've got the environment right (sounds like you do), then don't worry about it. Just more medicine, in a bit different shape. My stuff that foxtailed ended up just fine, although trimming was more of a chore.

IME foxtailing is like hermie plants or females that will pop nanners. it can either be born this way, or it can be stressed into foxtailing, but either way, it doesnt affect the smoke. my penny and a half. While there I had a chance to sample Tarzan’s Pink Floyd...... WOW ! It came on quick and easy. And gave a long lasting uplifting feeling. Pain was gone for several hours afterward. The taste was very mellow and refreshing. Tarzan has done a wonderful job with this one. Newbie my donkey lol. Tarzan grows like a pro. And I would like to add that if I was not a caregiver myself I would be seeking him out to be mine. Great job Doc Keep up the great work.
