bobandtorey
Listen 0:42 The Michigan Public Radio Network’s Rick Pluta reports. Dispensaries in Michigan shut down as a result of legal decisions that outlawed them, including one earlier this year by the state Supreme Court. State Representative Mike Callton says that left many people with chronic or terminal illnesses unable to get medical marijuana. That’s in spite of the law approved by voters in 2008 to allow that. “I just do not like seeing people who are trying to get help for whatever medical condition they have becoming criminals,” he says. Callton was on WKAR’s “Off the Record.” Callton says his bill would help make sure safe supplies of medical marijuana and that felons don’t get into the business. Voters in three Michigan communities will also decide next week whether to decriminalize marijuana. Whexissilla

Celliach
He got at least $50,000 in his PAC from the NPRA. I think they may have donated an additional $20,000 or so on top of that. I was originally pointing out that he wasn't responsible for the Prairie Farms bill.
