In 2008, MCL 333.26425(a) of the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act gave the Department only 120 days to implement the program and promulgate

 

administrative rules. As a result, a number of unanticipated issues have emerged that were not addressed in the short period of time available for

 

implementation. While several of the administrative rules have been revised to comply with Public Acts 460 and 512 of 2012, the entire rule set has

 

not undergone a comprehensive evaluation since the statute was implemented.

They need to establish a new set of rules because the current ones are not restrictive enough and don't create enough hassle for patients.The last thing that Michigan voters want is a medical marijuana program that functions for patients.What they want is a program that functions for law enforcement and the state.The state needs to get its big hands tighter around the necks of patients so that, when the time comes, applying the fatal squeeze will be much easier.

Maybe they can change it so anyone who isn't 100% healthy wouldn't be eligible for a card!

Take their pot away from them.  Then they'll look sick.  Then give it back to them, healthy.  Then take it away, sick. 

 

Eventually they'll catch on.  Maybe.....

If you look at some of the other States with a program like ours they only took 90 days or less to set up there program 

 

And the implementation IMHO there still working on that part
