The local Michigan State Senator looks back at 2015, and ahead to 2016. In light of Michigan’s medical marijuana law, State Senator Tom Casperson of Escanaba says he’s working on a bill that could lead to the testing of motorists suspected of driving while high. Casperson also says he’s hopeful there will be progress this year on the Aquila Back Forty Project, the proposed Menominee County Mine. As for 2015 Casperson says he’s particularly proud of the $1.2 billion road funding plan that has been signed into law. Casperson has launched his congressional bid to represent Northern Michigan in the U.S. House.

He is my Senator and previous Rep.

We call him a Ken Doll(Barbie).

Completely beholden to the local corporate interests(his own and his families).

He has actually been to my house twice.  You should have seen the look on his face the second time he knocked on my door.  Hahah... Priceless.

He was like " oh fukadoodle, not this guy again".

Not until it's fully legal on the federal level.

And even then there will be plenty of restrictions, ordinances and laws to make sure there will be lots of criminals left to imprison.

We Gotta have criminals, C'mon people Cops need jobs too.

We can't have safe people running around unencumbered.
